Asynchronicity is that time factor when dealing with interactions on the internet. Instead of having to deal with face to face interactions and other people's reactions in certain situations, a person can read what you say to them, and then have time to think it over and decide how they are going to respond or if they are going to respond at all. It suspends time in conversation and changes the outcome of situations drastically since you cannot witness a person's initial reaction to something it might not be the same as the response they give after having time to look at the situation and figure out how they want to deal with it.

Presentation
Sara's Teaching Presentation on Prezi
This presentation explains who I am and why I feel that teaching young children is for me. By reading this presentation I believe it shows I am dedicated to getting my degree and persuing my career in teaching. Although I do not know the subject I would like to teach, it does not effect the passion I have for teaching.
I chose Prezi to do this presentation because it creates a fun play on a typically boring slideshow and keeps people intrigued and interested in what I have to say.

Three Great Teacher Blogs..
http://preschool-daze.com/
I chose this blog because the colors and layout on the page really expresses the bright atmosphere I would like to have in my preschool classroom. The alphabet format of writing was a really cool idea to me because I believe it represents some things that a preschool child learns. The blog also provides information about the preschool itself that can help parents looking for a good school for their child.

I picked this blog at first based on only the title. The title "Chalk Talk" is catchy and made me want to click on it and find out what it was about. After doing so, I found that it was also interesting to read. In my position, wanting to be a teacher, this blog gave many helpful hints and tips of things I could incorporate into my curriculum as a teacher.

This blog caught my eye again for the catchy and creative title, but the content was something I really liked. I love that this blog was straight from the teacher's perspective. It gives people like myself who are interested in this profession a glimpse into what goes on and the feelings a teacher in the position might experience. Welcome to my Blog!
Hello! My name is Sara Molnar. I am currently attending Columbus State Community College to obtain an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Development. I only just recently decided to go in this direction because I have been very indecisive since I graduated high school in 2010. I chose Early Childhood because I truly love children. I have not decided specifically what I want to be teaching, or where, or anything. What I do know is that I plan on working with young children around the ages of 3-6 because I think they are so much fun and I believe I will be happy doing that.
Although I want to end up in a career in teaching, for the past three years I have been working as a waitress at Bob Evans. My coworkers at Bob Evans have known I want to be involved with children for the rest of my life because I jump at every chance I get to help with our kids nights and always enjoy waiting on tables with children with them. I have even volunteered to dress up as the dogs Biscuit and Gravy, the Bob Evans mascots, for the children at kids night. I'd say that's a sign that working with young children is where I'm meant to be.
